Today is International Women's Day. This year’s theme, Strength in Every Story, emphasizes the diverse and powerful journeys of women. Today, and throughout the year, we recognize and celebrate the inspiring women and girls who continue to make a lasting impact. Happy #IWD2025!

Collaborative problem solving is the best! So great to see the 8s happily work with all class members to explore contextual math questions and build skills together. We have been building up our accountable math talk moves to have active involvement in our knowledge development.

📖We ended the week with our first book club discussion session and the room sure was buzzing with engagement! 8s were encouraged to “get into it” when discussing the first section of the book and very much rose to the occasion as they reflected on what they read❤️

#PinkShirtDay is Wednesday, Feb. 26. Remember to wear pink tomorrow to help raise awareness about the negative impacts of bullying and encourage kindness towards all.

Watercolour Art meets Community Connection with the theme of Valentine’s Day🩷🎨 Class 8-2 thoughtfully designed personalized greeting cards to add a little sparkle to someone’s day. It was lovely sharing this moment of kindness together. The beaming smiles were the best!❤️
