Wait, does anyone still own a Dreamcast here? 😇 First run.. moving at around 1 frame every 30 seconds.. Haha. Time for adding some GLdc. We're still doing a lot of stuff which is basically free in GL but extremely expensive in software.

That chip has wifi, and from there it's a simple TCP connection to a game server. We already have this running on our Neo Geo cartridge, it will work the same way.

...also, please remember to make sure the cartridge is beveled, chamfered and the proper thickness; Many Saturn carts get this wrong and it will damage your console.

Just waiting for our cartridge prototypes before contuining as that will make a few things easier. The new/next game "Overserved: Food Fighters" will also have cross-platform netplay against many other platforms.

And yes, Overserved will be released for the Saturn as well, including cross-platform play against Neo Geo, Windows, Mac, Linux, Playstation, Switch (tbc), Xbox, iOS, tvOS & Android. Only fair for a spiritual successor of Saturn Bomberman, ya reckon? 😇

Game will release on a designated cartridge (FSST-1) including OTA update functionality, so there will be zero loading times. Sound will either be coming from emulated YM2610 if we can get it fast enough, otherwise streamed from the cartridge.
