There can and should be a balance of screen use and non screen use while in the classroom BUT students should be creating, producing, manipulating, coding, etc with their devices in an active learning setting. I will stand on a hill about this one!

More than another reform, what education needs most is people with courage in positions of authority. You can have the best policies imaginable, but without someone willing to hold the line and make sure they’re enforced, you’re just paying lip service to an ideal you don’t have the fortitude to bring to fruition.
