Both varsity and JV get the victory over FZN. Varsity medalists are Heuer,Celli, Hunter. All five guys got points. JV was led by Bates and Lewis. Very consistent scores across the board as we wrap up a busy week!

Varsity and JV get wins today in a wet match over North Point. Heuer takes medalist honors for varsity, Vohs does it for JV. Great job in the elements today!

Varsity gets 5th out of 11 in the Maroon Division of the Bogey Hills Invitational. Congrats to Heuer for a 7th place finish and Hahn for T10th. Since Sam lost the scorecard playoff for the 10th place medal, the boys gave him a sugar packet instead.

The JV plays well today and takes 2nd at The Prospects tourney. Evan Bates takes 1st (scorecard playoff)!! Jake Lewis gets 4th! Great job by those two and Kaden, Chase, and Brooks who also played well! Fun day!

Var wins first match of the season over FZW. Sam Hahn and Zach Celli lead the way w 37s. Good start, plenty to build on. JV drops their match to FZW.

It was an honor to attend the St. Charles County STEM Awards Breakfast with Shreenik Enturi. He has been such an impressive student in our school and in the community. He will inspire others around him for years to come. Congrats Shreenik!

Super proud of FZS Golf Alum Joey Friedel for taking 2nd in the St. Louis City Championship Open Division. Battled the heat and a strong field of players. Congrats to Collin Pini (@howellgolf alum) for the victory. 62 is amazing!!

For tomorrow’s make up camp day, boys will meet at the Falls Driving Range at 7:15am and the girls will meet at 7:30am. The campers will be heading out to play some holes on the course. Bring water…it will be a hot one!

Congrats to Joey Friedel on a great comeback round today (Even) after a tough day yesterday at the Metropolitan Open Championship. Think he just needed to lose the caddy…

You can check scores at metga.org. Yesterday was tough conditions. Obviously played tips. Very long, wet rough and by mid morning the wind was very strong. And check the pin sheet from yesterday, hardly anything not tucked. Learned a lot to share w the guys!

2. Their course management is also much better and more consistent. Patient when need to be, playing wide side of doglegs, aggressive w scoring club in their hand AND pin is favorable. Miss in spots they can recover easily.

Takeaways from caddying yesterday watching mini tour players alongside Joey. These guys are hoping to never have “real” jobs. 1. Their short games are amazing. High school coaches say it all the time but watching these guys after watching hs players all spring is night and day

Getting back to my caddying summer job roots from years ago. Today for former top Bulldog golfer Joey Friedel at the Metropolitan Open. Gonna be a fun day!
