📢 Update regarding the @DOCMFirestone event! We have closed the area around the dock for about a one hour period. This is to ensure everyone remains safe during the event. We encourage everyone to come join us and support our local businesses. Have fun!

🛶 Department of Boating and Waterways Information @DOCMFirestone will be holding a boat race shortly, which could result in delays in the water. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy some nice boating! Remember to stay safe!

📢Waterway Advisory Update: SAFE The incident under the FS98 has been taken care of. A member of the Department of Boating and Waterways was involved in an accident, causing a hazard to nearby boaters traveling below FS98. Further statements will be released at a later point.

Correction: This is below the FS98, not the 401. We apologize for the incorrect location.

🚨Waterway Advisory Update: CAUTION Due to an ongoing incident, the Department of Boating and Waterways has upgraded the waterway advisory to CAUTION. There has been an incident below the 401 bridge, the Stapleton County Fire Department is on scene, as well as DoBW.

Caution description: The waterways are experiencing a minor incident. Civilians should be highly alert near the prescribed areas. The caution advisory will expire at 6:30 PM EST, on June 8th, 2022.

On June 6th, Secretary HippoRarest announced the re-establishment of the Maritime Safety Board. The Maritime Safety Board will be responsible for internal investigations of DoBW employees, approving businesses to operate on Firestone waterways . . . (1/2)

On Sunday 5/22/2022, The Department of Boating & Waterways issued a Hazardous Waterway Advisory for multiple individuals who were injured at the dam In return, the Stapleton County Fire Department and Law Enforcement pinched in to help rescue and safely extract the individuals.

The Department of Public Works came to the dam today and helped clear up and check for any damage left behind! The Employees of the Department of Boating & Waterways were there to assist when needed during these times! @PublicWorks_FS @FedoraMasterB98
