On Friday, July 11, 2025, City Power officials were at the Amasteng, Extension 8 in Alexandra, and a number of patrons came through to register for the Free Basic Electricity project. The officials continue with door-to-door campaigns in the Bramley View precinct, mobilising customers to register. Those legible and interested, are encouraged not to miss the opportunity to register tomorrow at the Twelve Apostle Church in Bramley View, next to the Alexandra Service Delivery Centre (SDC), from 08:00 to 16:00. Alternatively, they can also visit the SDC's Customer Service office Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00, for assistance with registration.
