Before Elon took over, Twitter had several policies that made it so accounts like BadHombre here who deliberately and consistently posted false information designed to misinform and stir up outrage over fictitious scenarios would be warned and then permanently banned.
But now they are not only allowed to post blatant lies like this, they are encouraged to. In fact, he'll collect a nice paycheck as a reward. Mass spreading lies to feed your hysteria is now a full-time job that can and will pay the bills. You can like Elon, and like that Twitter is considerably more right-leaning after he took over. Whatever. But at least have the awareness to know that this is not okay and should be changed. Media disinformation is dangerous and it does in fact lead to violent rhetoric and action.
(for context, this clip shows a woman crying because her elderly neighbor's door was broken down and ICE stormed in and carried him out half-naked in the snow only to find that they had the wrong guy and dump him off later with zero accountability because they're poorly trained deputized citizens who just want to make cash for grabbing brown people)
