@DesuVGC The nerf was probably due to Battle Spot Singles, where (iirc) aegi was quite oppresive due to fuctionally being a 720 bst mon that could go full offensive or full stall.
And yes, they do take BSS into consideration balance wise since it's technically an official format

Besides Rock Slide being unchecked for more than a decade another thing that still baffles me is the Aegislash nerf. Dude was nowhere broken nor a top contender in all the formats he was played and for some reasons he had its stats and signature nerfed (Kingambit say thanks).

@ChalkOrion @vodkalover52 Gacha creep's the main reason tbh; getting to be a 1 or 2 star is rarer that getting to be a 3 star, and it's mostly reserved to horses with losing yet interesting records (all of Canopus, Biko) or to early horses (all of golden gen should be 3 stars imo)

@Ruffsketch__ I believe it’s a two way street. Some inventions are inspired by them (Conkeldurr), some of them are influenced by human “creations” (Trubbish). The only weird thing is how the Porygon line was created but didn’t spur more on that front.

i like to think that humans in the pokemon world base things off of the item based pokemon like ice cream cones are based on vanillish or boxing loves are based on hitmonchan's hands....things like that..this is why some pokemon look like items. because ppl used them as inspo!
