They are both very important factors to consider. If the ball gag causes you pain at any point, it’s better to refrain. X-large ball gags are not necessary nor worth the risk. Nor gags that expand in your mouth like nerf balls or inflatables. The safest gags are cleave gags, over the mouth gags (OTM), or tape (NOT-wrapped around the head dozens of times.

Nerve Compression: Large gags can put pressure on the trigeminal nervebranches, potentially leading to numbness or chronic pain (neuralgia) in the face or jaw area. Conclusion: It is much safer to sock a cock than to wear jaw stretching ball gags for extended periods of time. #BDSMHEALTH
