You know this is a real question. If the Counter-Strike market was gone. You could no longer trade your skins and your account was locked for trade. Would the game survive with the state of cheaters in it? Would it survive without the CS market?

@MitaoCatCS Kinda expected that terminal skin drop in price over time dude. Just look at what happened to the AK and M4 from the last terminal. Dirt cheap compared to what the used to go for.

People said it was because "it's a new glove". I think it was becasue the market was bad, lack of liquidity. "New" doesn't mean it will drop necessarily. New items could go up if market is good, and -20%~25% in a week isn't normal at all.

And since its not a very popular finish, its "only" the price of a M9 Ruby or Emerald, even though they are more common. Comparing it with a Talon is nonsense though. I like Talon Ruby, but M9 is rightfully way more popular.

@TheChefCS Why would you invest in applied stickers? Its way less liquid than just buying the stickers, and also applied they only worth a fraction. So thinner margins for an item thats harder to sell?

@Anco_CS2 You have no clue what you are talking about, traders buying for 80-90% is standard. (80 being the low and, 90 the high end). Market is hella volatile and they have to pay fees on the sale. If you mind, just sell yourself for 100%. Same shit when you sell a car to a dealership.

@EyeCs2 I dont really get your point, there is 3k registered gamma doppler ph 4, so on average 3 per pattern. With some patterns there might be 5 unboxed, with others only 1 or even none, why would that make it special?

Added a slab to the Hot Rod and picked up a Blue Phosphor. Every craft I've seen 100 times on it so I will add a few stickers in a week.

@bibanator Ehrlich insane dass die Leute dieses Konzept immer noch nicht raffen, buy the dip. In nem Jahr haben wir dann wieder nen all time high market cap und alle schauen blöd. Ausschließlich Knives und Gloves werden nur schwer wieder auf den bisherigen peak kommen (waren eh overpriced)

Mich haben heute wirklich alle Leute angeschrieben, die irgendwas mit CS zu tun haben. Sogar dein Vater ist in meine dm's geslidet und bat mich um Rat. Buy the dip, as always. Panicsellen, wie immer, unsmart. Wer in CS seit 2012 investiert ist, der wird diese Phasen wieder erkennen. Erinnert mich ein wenig an 2017er Tradelock update. Habe damals AWP Dlores FN für 400 EUR - 600 EUR gekauft, als wären sie Smarties und bei 1.2k - 1.4k verkauft. Bei der Masse war das huge und mit dem Geld direkt in die nächste Collection rein. Gungnirs für 2k gesniped und für 10k 2 Jahre später verkauft. Sticker Capsules für 500 EUR gekauft und für 20k EUR pro Stück 4 Jahre später verkauft. 90% meiner jetzigen collectible skins für damals max 40k gekauft und heute über 1mio wert, übrigens uneffected von dem jetzigen update - im Gegenteil sogar - die werden noch mehr steigen. Millions over Millions step by step. Greed ist nie gut. Der Markt wird immer und immer wieder so sein, je nachdem was Valve anstellt. Mein gut gemeinter Rat an jeden ist, dass man nichts überstürzen sollte. Wenn ihr sehr günstige redskins habt - erfreut euch an den 5x - 10x. Cases gehen dementsprechend mit hoch. Entweder ihr gamblet (rate ich eher von ab) und hofft auf nen Banger oder ihr holdet und sellt die reds teuer und habt direkten Profit. Teure redskins sind nahezu uneffected. Collection skins sind uneffected, da kein knife oder gloves. Sticker uneffected, Rare collectibles -> old souvenirs, kato2014 crafts usw - uneffected. Geht hierbei wirklich um low-midtier reds und alles was darunter liegt -> pink, purple, blue und natürlich alle mid-hightier knives. Ultra Rare Knives, wie bluegems ebenfalls nahezu uneffected. Ob es jetzt 2 x #1 bluegem gibt oder 4 x auf der Welt - juckt. Die Chinesen oder Russen wollen diese Items so oder so, aber es gibt keine auf dem freien Markt. Ich verkaufe davon joanix und Anfragen kommen immer. Bissle chillen ist angesagt Loide. Mein aktueller Verlust der Knives und Gloves beträgt ca. 150k vom gestrigen noch gepumpten alltime high zu der jetzigen Situation. Blicken wir einige Monat zurück, bin ich immer noch im Profit. Geisteskrank sogar. Hedge Maze von 4k zu 17k, also selbst bei einer Halbierung des Preises ist das immer noch insane und eine Halbierung wird sicherlich eintreten. Wie lange ist die andere Frage. Gegenrechnung, wieviel ich Profit bin durch andere Skins, die jetzt gerade immens steigen ist schwierig bei meinen ganzen storage Units zu kalkulieren. Dementsprechend ist der totale Verlust wesentlich geringer + die meisten trade-ups und panic sells gehen jetzt von statten. Deshalb denke ich das es da auch in spätestens 10 Tagen wieder einen break geben wird und sich die Preise nach oben regulieren für die gesamte economy. Man muss auch verstehen, dass die Leute gerade von einem absolut aufgeblähten und manipulierten Markt rechnen. Also ein Skin der von 1k auf 10k gepumpt wurde innerhalb von 2 Tagen und jetzt auf 5k fällt ist nicht, nichts. Er ist immer noch 4k im Profit, je nachdem wie und wann man gekauft hat. Leute gehen vom highes peak bis zum lowest dip und so unlucky oder unsmart ist hoffe ich mal keiner gewesen. Da ich überwiegend in drop collections investiert bin, fiebere ich schon auf das nächste große Valve update hin, indem man Dlores und Gungnirs wieder gedropped bekommt. Vlt. auch auf oldschool mal paar alte Kato 2014 sticker capsules auf Nostalgiebasis ingame droppen. Mal schauen, was Valve so vorbereitet hat für uns :) Meddl out.
