You're going to see a lot of rage bait about The Mandalorian & Grogu predicted box office today, and see people compare it to Solo: A Star Wars Story. What they will forget to tell you is that Solo: A Star Wars Story had a budget of over $300M, while The Mandalorian & Grogu has a budget of about $165M.

Rise Of Skywalker followed by five years' worth of increasingly awful streaming shows has turned Star Wars into Star Trek...nothing but "content". The two most common questions concerning The Mandalorian and Grogu after each piece of marketing is shown are basically: “What’s the entire plot?” and “What’s the big twist to this?” Remember when people hated when trailers showed too much?

I don’t think most of y’all can say there’s a lack of marketing for Mando and Grogu when most of y’all don’t even interact with half of the avenues used for marketing these days.
