@iTrap4TheHokage Yeah, but Crimson Desert is also a 100+ hour game riding entirely on combat and exploration. Many people will need a stronger narrative hook to stick with it that long.

Crimson desert getting hate for a bad a story is kinda funny, because nioh 3 story is hilariously bad but the gameplay is phenomenal Dmc story is ass but the gameplay and characters are fun Ninja gaiden story is atrocious but the gameplay is phenomenal I can go on

And he's defeated. Orphan is for sure the only boss that can compete with Sekiro and Elden Ring best fights. He has it all; a decently complex moveset that lets you dance around him, super cinematic, good OST, and a very striking lore/design. Peak, top 10 in the series probably.
