Cameroonian Whistleblower and Influencer Nzui Manto Raises Over 8.9 Million FCFA for Families of Post-Election Violence Victims Popular Cameroonian whistleblower and social media influencer Nzui Manto has raised over 8.9 million FCFA (€13,633) to assist the families of civilians killed during the post-election violence that followed Cameroon’s disputed October 2025 presidential election. In a post shared on his Facebook page, which has more than one million followers, Nzui Manto provided an update on the fundraising initiative titled “La cagnotte en faveur des familles des Camerounais tués par Paul Biya.” “Total PayPal: 9,590 euros Bank transfer: 4,043 euros Total: 13,633 euros, approximately 8,900,000 FCFA,” he wrote. “The families of the 38 Cameroonians are requested to contact me.” According to Nzui Manto, he has begun distributing 200,000 FCFA to each affected family and continues to post updates on the progress. The initiative has been widely praised by Cameroonians at home and abroad, many of whom see it as a powerful act of solidarity amid government silence over the killings.
