@chad_kris69 @bobo_circus no the difference is that Bakshi was actually pushing the envelope of what was socially acceptable to depict with cartoons/animation and TADC is just more corporatized child media fed to adults.

You know, this scene works very unfortunately well if you substitute Caine with the Twitter mob, and the Circus cast with indie creators. You barely have to change any dialogue, except for the very beginning.

I was young in the 80s/90s in the UK.
I don’t remember my parents ever going out to eat, except when we were on holiday (in the UK).
I don’t think they ever took me to a fast food restaurant, or ordered takeaway food.
People today have no clue how working people lived.

Boomers seem to forget that fast food used to be a normal, everyday expense for them because it was affordable. You could get a burger easily on minimum wage, it wasn’t some fancy treat you had once a year as a reward for pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.

I had tapped out of the series a little bit before Beyond Light and was waiting for reviews to get consistently good. after Witch Queen was received really well I was so ready to get back into the series but then Lightfall drops and everyone hates the game again

Destiny Raids will go down in the history of gaming as one of the greatest gaming activities a team of developers were able to put together.
