I don’t trust hardware-based privacy. I don’t trust any privacy built on MPC protocols that don’t scale beyond at least 1000 nodes and more. And even less I trust to protocols using FHE with MPC threshold decryption. Calling such systems “quantum-resistant” is like putting your money in an ultra-secure safe while leaving the key behind a door with a cheap, easily breakable lock — and “saying” your security depends on the safe, not the door, because you assume no one will attack the door. :) FHE may be quantum secure, but it doesn’t mean that any protocol using FHE is also quantum secure.
