#Roblox #RobloxDev Roblox dev/creator community - I need help. 3 years ago I've set out to create a "higher quality version of Murder Mystery 2" called "The Mad Murderer X" and I've made everything I could to make murder more fun, but the game is not getting much traction. (long post) I've put systems for inviting friends, for improving monetization, did a lot of community requests and overall have paid attention to Roblox analytics and even managed to raise them by a lot, but the game didn't budge in terms of concurrent players. I've tried rewarding influencers for playing my game, I've tried inviting influencers to play my game - nothing worked. I've tried different ad campaigns, I've tried switching up the thumbnail and still found not much success. I've tried expanding the game into additional game modes to create entire new ways to play the game (and even incentives to try those game modes for the first time), but player interest for those features was very low. What do you think? Was my project bound to fail from the start? Is my approach to this game too stale even though MM2 with 200k concurrent players gets by with fewer features? Is there one little thing I've missed that could change everything for the better? Maybe all I need is more serious promotion? Any insights would be very appreciated!
