Alfie Pinckney has aplastic anaemia, a condition that means the eight-year-old's teeth fall out and he suffers from "terrifying" nose bleeds, as his body cannot control bleeding

@Dr_Ellie Yes, my local school has now sent home 4 classes out of 8. The problem IMHO is that bubble sizes are too big - reduce bubble size then whole year groups don’t need to self isolate, and most importantly, whole year groups & their families are not potentially exposed to COVID.

Good ventilation of indoor spaces where there's household mixing is so important and is not getting through strongly in the public health messaging about #COVID19. Open windows. Open doors. Let the kids put an extra layer of clothes on if needed and do it all day in schools.

@MattHancock have you forgotten the results of Gov-funded REACT study showing 69% of people testing positive for #COVID19 had NO SYMPTOMS on the day of the test or in the previous week? We need more testing, not defensive & petty blame games. #CovidUK #coronavirus

"We want the tests to be available for people with symptoms." Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, tells #BBCBreakfast that 25% of people getting a #coronavirus test don't have symptoms and don't need one. ⤵️ bbc.co.uk/news/health-54…

What if the government released data on daily deaths linked to #ClimateChange #pollution #GlobalWarming? Imagine if we put the same effort behind that as we are for COVID.. #cleanair #covid19
Andy Gaya@andygaya
If the Government released daily statistics about how many people died from cancer it would certainly shock a lot of people. It's around 450 a day. Sadly unless we see some serious movement and very quickly, that number will grow.

@thebodycoach Half way through that first week I felt physically broken, all the other mums were the same! But amazing how much fitter I’ve got. My kids usually ended up running around in the garden, only to see Mummy dancing around doing silly billies. It‘s been awesome, lockdown legend 👏
