@sophiehowe WLGA Council approved all the recommendations of a cross-party report on Diversity in Local Democracy last March. The Leader of Monmouthshire Council responded with a motion there, on striving for gender balanced after the elections, unanimously passed. Well done @RichardJohnRJ

Well this is interesting. I don’t know the ins and outs but have seen leadership on gender balance coming from a number of political parties on this council. Lessons to learn from here maybe
