Biggest pet peeve is when we show up for game not ready to play. Get down by 5 in 1st, give up, cash it in, then the 7th rolls around & we DECIDE to have good approach, focus. What ya know, we score 4 runs. It's YOUR DECISION to show up READY for battle from 1st pitch to last! 👊🏻

A friend with athletic kids reminded me that often his kids spend more time with coaches than they do at home. The more we pour into our coaches, the more they pour into our kids. I can’t control some external factors but I can treat our people like I KNOW what they do matters.

Great first week of the year. Took some losses to very good teams this weekend. Played in temps ranging from the 70’s to 29 degrees. 1-2-1 record and have yet to play a team that will miss playoffs. The opportunity to play continues. #usvsus

What a way to open the season. Big win over LaVega. On to the Madisonville Tournament this weekend. Need to keep the bats warm!

Before the games started today, kids on the baseball team, softball team, and soccer team honored and remembered their classmate and friend that tragically passed away yesterday. Balloons were released after a moment of silence. (Continued below)

Well, here we go with the weather concerns! Control what you can control!

Trying to be on time each pitch & take an aggressive swing is priority #1. Think about it. Strike 1 might be the best pitch you see, or the next one, etc. How many of those can you let go by & expect to be a good hitter? Consequence if you swing hard & miss? Just strike one.

First day in the books. A lot of energy and excitement. Remember leaders, show the way for the younger guys. Could be a really special year.
