We make drive-thru registration seamless for our members from the comfort of your car! Come out and take part in the business of your cooperative on this last day of the Annual Meeting. The drive-thru at our Winnsboro office is open until noon. Don’t miss the virtual Business Meeting livestream on our website tonight. We will announce all the prize winners during the online event at 6 p.m.

Tomorrow, May 15, is the LAST DAY to register for our Annual Meeting. We’ll be at the Fairfield Electric Winnsboro office from 7 a.m. until noon! All registered members will be entered into our prize drawings, which will take place tomorrow night during the virtual Business Meeting. The meeting will be livestreamed on our website at 6 p.m.

It’s almost here! Our Annual Meeting starts on Monday and lasts through the end of next week. Drive-thru registration and voting will be held at various locations in our service area, and all registered members will receive a 62” vented umbrella. We’re proud to recognize Ashley Wilson, who celebrates her 20th year at FEC today. Ashley began as a cashier in our Winnsboro office and is now the Accounts Payable/Capital Credits Clerk in our Blythewood office. Her steady dedication to excellence made her an invaluable employee from the start. Thank you for your service, Ashley. 👏⭐️🎉

Fairfield Electric was thrilled to see SC Children's Book Challenge individual division winner Stella Grace Burroughs recognized by the SC General Assembly this morning. Stella Grace, a fourth grader at Fairfield Magnet School for Math and Science, wrote and illustrated a book entitled The Day That Power Took a Vacation. Her book was selected as the winner from more than 200 entries statewide and was the local winner for Fairfield Electric. Stella Grace, her teacher Kimberlea Daly, and her family visited the State House this morning to be recognized in both the SC Senate and House of Representatives. They were hosted by Rep. Annie McDaniel and Sen. Everett Stubbs. Today, we celebrate Lineman Appreciation Day in South Carolina. FEC is so thankful for our lineworkers and all they do. They are dedicated, highly skilled and committed to serving our members. They show up when conditions are tough and stay until the work is done. #LinemanAppreciationDay

Linemen Kyle Kaelin and Dustin Duggins visited Kelly Miller Elementary School in Winnsboro for its Career Day on Friday. They had the opportunity to share information with students about their careers and show the students the tools they use to keep the power on. @KMES_Tigers

Applications are now open for the 2026 Fairfield Electric Touchstone Energy scholarships. FEC is sponsoring ten $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school seniors in our service area. The money may be used for the college or technical school of your choice. Applicants must live in a home that receives its power from Fairfield Electric, and finalists must participate in an interview at the co-op office in Blythewood.
