You’re not supposed to teach a grown person how to care about your feelings. Once you constantly have to explain why something hurt you, then the problem is not how you said it, it’s their willingness to understand. Empathy is a choice.

God is very intentional. Nothing about your life is random. Not the delays, not the detours, not even the waiting. He knows exactly what He's doing. Please learn to trust him more this year.

Empathy One of the most important qualities in a partner for me, non negotiable.

Sometimes as a woman, you have to be honest with yourself and admit, “I’m not loved here. I’m not appreciated. I’m not valued. I’m not seen.” And when you finally see it clearly… you don’t argue, you don’t beg, you don’t chase. You walk away, and you stay away.

Some people are not replaceable. I don't think that you can experience the same thing twice in a person. You either find better or worse. You will never find the same behaviour, personality or treatment in another person. Some people are really worth fighting and sacrificing for. It takes humility to recognize this.

It’s one legit fear among people trying to date this days, the fear of conflict in relationships People these days don’t want to have tough conversations, one conflict and they’re shutting down, calling it a red flag and leaving, meanwhile the beauty of a relationship is in repair. You will always have disagreements, your childhoods were different, your experiences are different, you’d see the world in different ways, definitely you’d step on each others toes once in a while but knowing how to communicate and forgive will do so much for you in that relationship. Don’t run, learn to stay with that feeling and repair, you won’t regret it

Spiritual warfare 101 - No matter how overwhelmed you “feel” inside, never show the devil. You see, the devil is NOT Omniscient, so he does not know all things. The things he knows about us are things said and spoken of us. Or the things we let out from our mouths ourselves or by our reactions and actions. So while you may be overwhelmed in your soul, the way he gets to know is from your reaction. And because he is a wicked and oppressive entity, when he knows where it hurts, he robs it in the more. But responding in praise confounds him. This is exactly the rationale behind the idea that praise confuses the enemy. Because he can’t understand why his onslaught is not causing you to give up and give in. So beloved saints of God, regardless how you feel right now, find a way to release your praise ! “14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.” Psalm 71:14.
