it’s funny how we just give our own connotations to animal behavior, like what if the elephant was actually letting them know that they better not be here when they come back??

HOW TO CLOSE DOORS TO THE ENEMY ‼️
Many believers are not defeated because they lack faith—
they are struggling because doors were left open.
The enemy does not need ownership to operate—
he looks for access.
📖 “Do not give the devil a foothold.” — Ephesians 4:27
A foothold is simply this:
a small opening that becomes a place of influence.
THE TRUTH
Freedom in Christ is complete—
but walking in freedom requires intentional surrender.
Jesus delivers—but we must close what we once opened.
5 WAYS TO CLOSE DOORS
1. REPENT — CLOSE THE DOOR OF SIN
Sin is one of the most common open doors.
Not because God abandons you—
but because sin gives the enemy legal ground to accuse and influence.
📖 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us…” — 1 John 1:9
Repentance is not shame—
it is alignment.
What to do:
Be specific before God
Turn away, not just feel sorry
Ask for cleansing and strength
2. FORGIVE — CLOSE THE DOOR OF BITTERNESS
Unforgiveness is a hidden entry point.
📖 “Forgive… so that Satan will not outsmart us.” — 2 Corinthians 2:10–11
Bitterness binds you more than it binds them.
What to do:
Release the person by name
Cancel the debt in your heart
Choose peace—even if emotions lag behind
Forgiveness is not saying what they did was okay—
it is saying you will not carry it anymore.
3. RENOUNCE — CLOSE THE DOOR OF AGREEMENT
Sometimes doors are opened through:
Words spoken
Lies believed
Past involvement in darkness
📖 “Renounce hidden things of shame…” — 2 Corinthians 4:2
What to do:
Break agreement with lies (“I am worthless,” “I will never change”)
Renounce anything not of God
Declare truth in its place
You cannot walk in freedom while agreeing with bondage.
4. GUARD YOUR LIFE — CLOSE THE DOOR OF ACCESS
Not everything is harmless.
What you watch, listen to, and entertain can shape your spirit.
📖 “Above all else, guard your heart…” — Proverbs 4:23
What to do:
Remove what feeds darkness
Set boundaries
Choose what strengthens your spirit
If it weakens your walk with God—it’s not worth it.
5. WALK IN AUTHORITY — CLOSE THE DOOR DAILY
You are not powerless.
📖 “Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee…” — James 4:7
Notice:
He does not negotiate—
he flees.
What to do:
Speak truth out loud
Pray with authority
Stand firm in your identity
Freedom is not passive—it is enforced.
THE BALANCE
Deliverance is not about fear—
it is about freedom.
Not everything is a demon—
but not everything is just “natural” either.
Discernment matters.
THE MESSAGE
God is not exposing you to shame you—
He is revealing things to free you.
Every door can be closed.
Every chain can be broken.
You are not stuck.
POWERFUL PRAYER
Lord Jesus,
I surrender every area of my life to You.
I repent of every sin—known and unknown.
I forgive those who hurt me.
I renounce every lie and every agreement with darkness.
I close every door that is not from You.
Fill me with Your Spirit.
Strengthen me to walk in truth.
I declare:
I am free.
I belong to God.
No darkness has a place in me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
FINAL THOUGHT
The enemy loses access where you take responsibility.
TAKEAWAY
Freedom is not just received—it is maintained.
