Work at school trying to educate high numbers of disadvantaged children? Well you can expect to be your progress 8 score to be much lower. How is it right that schools serving poor areas are PENALISED for it? Somethings not right here.

Progress 8 punishes schools teaching high proportions of disadvantaged pupils. High P8 scores and high PP population schools are like hens teeth.

@oldandrewuk It's an inconsistent picture: schools with a strong vision that engage with research in a thoughtful way have definitely made great strides, however unfortunately this is not true of many schools

Another unintended consequence of @Ofstednews Book-looks were on their way out; pointless workload & terrible proxies for learning Since ofsted decided to magically use them to assess the quality of learning in the classroom every dipshit SLT now thinks they can do the same 🤡
