Stunning #eclipse image brought me temporarily out of @elonmusk triggered retirement. How to make moon darker than sky? Create new black disc layer and place it on top of the solar image, done. Why bother with all the hassle of attending an eclipse? Likes and shares that’s why.

@AndySaunders_1 Enjoyed “Apollo Remastered” (a lot). Aways liked AS17-149-22859 (a lot). Thought it would be neat to resurrect missing LM by stitching in that section from image before. AS17-149-22858. My humble attempt. Sure you could do better job if such fakery is allowed 😀

Shocking news, I have faked an Apollo image. Gene Cernan at controls of LM Challenger returning to CM in Dec 1972. Original image, AS17-149-22859 (left), bottom of LM is missing so I stitched in the missing part of LM from image before (AS17-149-22858) on right. Forgive me!

@hoaxeye @FakeAstropix Didn’t it turn out to be a couple planets that were lined up? Jupiter and Saturn if I’m not mistaken? Could be fake but I know they aligned a couple years ago and it was a big star of Bethlehem story on the news
