If you have persistent memory via cron and get channels to communicate wouldn't that be considered pretty much a full dev environment? Channels is different than the remote control they tried to push. Channels can be integrated into VScode so an ecosystem can be complete remotely now - cursor and VScode are limitless. The bridge is now complete if you do it right

remote terminal is cool but "full dev environment" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. it still starts sessions fresh. pair this with a persistent memory MCP and then you're actually talking about something that changes the game, knowing what it did last time you left your desk
