I am working on a business plan to start shipping small cars direct Belgium in bulk to Nigeria. 206, 307, Toyota Yaris different models, etc. We will ship like 10-20 cars and sell each with up to 1million naira discount compared to Nigerian price. Just like PlayStation, this is an opportunity for people who want to buy cheaper from us and make profit. For marketers who want to advertise the cars, the commission we will pay you will be double what Nigerian car sellers give you. Stay tuned!

Between Toyota Yaris & Peugeot 206. Which of them is the most popular car in Nigeria?

@ItanolaHafsat But the risk percentage is higher than the shariah fixed income fund. I have my money in both, do you think i should put it altogether in the Imaan fund??

They were offered ₦100 million to ignore the crime, but they refused. Think about that for a moment. On April 9, 2026, officers from the Force Intelligence Department Special Tactical Squad (STS) stopped a trailer truck in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. Hidden under sacks of groundnut shells were 60 tonnes of stolen railway tracks and sleepers. This stolen infrastructure, worth over ₦400,000,000, belonged to the Nigerian people. Two suspects were arrested: Chisom Goodnews, 32, and Ahmed Adamu, 22. The truck driver was paid ₦2,500,000 to transport the stolen materials from Bauchi State to Ilorin. This was the work of an organized syndicate, a planned supply chain, and a direct attack on Nigeria's national infrastructure. Then came an offer of ₦100,000,000 in cash to let the suspects go and walk away. The officers refused. It was not because they did not need the money, but because true integrity, even when it is difficult, cannot be bought.
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, personally praised all the officers involved. He said their courage and honesty show the Nigeria Police Force at its very best. To those officers: you were offered a fortune to break your oath, but you chose to stand by Nigeria. This is the kind of Nigeria Police Force our nation deserves, and it is real.

NPF FOILS RAILWAY VANDALISM SYNDICATE, RECOVERS ₦400 MILLION ASSETS, OPERATIVES REJECT ₦100 MILLION BRIBE The Nigeria Police Force, through the Force Intelligence Department Special Tactical Squad (FID-STS), has recorded a major breakthrough with the arrest of two (2) suspects involved in the large-scale vandalisation of critical national infrastructure and the recovery of railway materials valued at over Four Hundred Million Naira (₦400,000,000). The suspects, Chisom Goodnews (32) and Ahmed Adamu (22), were arrested on 9th April 2026 at about 1800hrs in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, following credible intelligence. The operation led to the interception of a trailer truck conveying approximately sixty (60) tonnes of vandalised railway tracks and sleepers. The materials were concealed under sacks of groundnut shells in a deliberate attempt to evade detection while being transported from Bauchi State to Ilorin, Kwara State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver of the truck was contracted for the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦2,500,000) to transport the vandalised materials, while further findings indicate an organised supply chain linked to receivers of such stolen infrastructure. During the investigation, the operatives involved in the operation reportedly rejected an offer of One Hundred Million Naira (₦100,000,000) made in a bid to compromise the process and secure the release of the suspects and exhibits. The trailer truck used in conveying the items has been recovered, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend other members of the syndicate, including the intended receivers, and to recover additional exhibits. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, commends the operatives for their courage, discipline, and incorruptibility, noting that such acts exemplify the core values of the Force. The Nigeria Police Force remains dedicated to safeguarding the nation’s assets from vandalism. Bank Customers! Let’s have it!
Akpor Ikogho@legal_padi

My opinion is that FCCPC v. UBA is one of those court decisions our Banks aren’t going to like. In that case, UBA went to court to argue that, as a CBN-licensed bank, the FCCPC should have no say over it on consumer matters. The Federal High Court in Abuja didn’t agree!!! Not even slightly. Here’s what the case was really about. UBA leaned on Section 251(1)(d) of the Constitution and Section 65(1)(a) of BOFIA 2020, both of which place banking regulation squarely within the CBN’s domain. The FCCPC, on the other hand, relied on Section 104 of the FCCPA 2018 which provides that when it comes to competition and consumer protection, the Act takes priority where there’s a clash. So, in simple terms, the argument was this… “Only the CBN can regulate us” versus “Consumer protection applies across every sector, including banking.” The court agreed with the FCCPC!!! It confirmed that the Commission can investigate consumer complaints involving banks. It also fined UBA N2 million for bringing what it considered a frivolous case. Why does this matter? For a long time, there has been a quiet assumption that once the CBN is involved, that’s the end of the story. This judgment says otherwise. The CBN still handles licensing and supervision. But when it comes to how customers are treated, the FCCPC now has firm ground to step in. For banks and fintechs, this changes the compliance conversation. Your complaints process, customer terms, and even how you handle data-related issues now sit within a more layered regulatory environment. For consumers, it’s simpler. Your options don’t end with the bank. The message is clear. Banks answer to the CBN. They also answer to consumer protection law.

Here is how I would fix the Nigeria power problem if I were minister. We cannot start this analysis without first understand where the population of Nigeria lives. The below map I made shows this - population of Nigeria is quite concentrated in particular areas. Power must work in this priority order, not "equity", but just simply - how many people had 24/7 power. Thread ⬇️
