The whole thing just felt frustrating and a bit unbelievable. Atp not sure if I should even be picking up foxglove :/

Belladonna by Adalyn Grace*⁠･⁠゜ﾟ ⭐⭐⭐ It was an okayish book for me. I had a hard time getting into this book. The first half was so slow that it took me more than a week to get through, and even after that, it never really picked up in a satisfying way.

The mystery also didn’t work for me. The reveal and the motive felt random and unconvincing, mostly because there wasn’t enough buildup or emotional connection to the characters involved. And honestly… after living with the family for weeks, how did the FMC not figure anything ?

The biggest issue for me was the lack of character depth. There are only a handful of characters, yet I still felt like I barely knew any of them including Death, who’s supposed to be our MMC. It made it really hard to care about anything that was happening.

@seraxluv This is peak taste especially with life on Mars and Tunnel mentions, I don't see people appreciating these enough. For me beyond evil, mouse and taxi driver would be here too afterall they all sit on the same table.
