This has literally _zero_ performance wins. In fact removing bus mitigation is actively harmful because x86 bus locks make the system crawl to a halt.
Catching these are done by the hardware and CachyOS removes the Linux exception handler that will handle the exception. Horrible

The mitigation is intended for:
1. Multi-tenant / cloud environments
2. Real-time systems
On single-user desktop systems you control all the software running. There's no adversarial threat model.
