Neither of them were the same... yet perhaps, maybe they can get to know each other again, as they were now. "Yes. Should you ever decide that you wish to get away from here, I can lend you a hand. Until then, farewell."

< man in front of him, once upon a time.

At that question, he couldn't help but laugh. "While I do wish for everything to already end, my expectations are non-existent." Here he still was after all, despite the endless amounts of attempts he already had behind him. "I am just tired at this point, Jing Yuan."

"I see." Blade wasn't sure if he should have expected it, but there was just a hint of disappointment at the back of his mind. "Whatever it is you strive for, I hope you will get the result you wish for."

Blade looked at him in silence for a few moments longer before he shook his head. "I guess it doesn't. The reason why I mentioned your condition is because I want to know your intentions. Are you waiting for someone to slay you? Or will you try to fight against your fate?"

"You know me? Or do you know the person called Yinxing?" The man tilted his head slightly, his red eyes almost seemed to pierce through him.

"Nothing. It was by chance that I met you here and I was merely stating what my eyes can perceive."

"So the general has become mara-struck." There was neither pleasure nor pity in his tone.

It's a tragic sight. A heart of ice is still a heart nonetheless, and it moves. "Do you have anywhere to go at all?" The Vidyadhara makes a question that sound like a proposal.

It is indeed possible. Although, one couldn't be sure whether the High Elder isn't just merely a ghost walking on earth with lingering regrets. "Jing Yuan... I see that time hasn't treated you well." He takes slow, measuring steps toward the other.

Small streams of cold water flows around the other's palms, just to heal whatever mark such action might cause. He decides to stay silent, for he has no ability to treat such a thing like mara.

ㅤㅤ though... i guess it's fair you wouldn't know all that about me and march anyway
