@Derangeddoomer This exactly... I have my kinks (eg plush tf) but I've found even many who share mine have their other thing be murrsuit/petsuit/poodle/etc, to the exclusion of the wholesome skilled character performance stuff I also love... I'm "ace/straight/kinky: pick at least 1 + fursuit"

I'm only 2 years into really being a furry and this is torture. The fandom should stay about the characters, the art, the stories, and the events. Not banging dudes in the ass. But that's sadly what the loudest turn it into every time.

@Eosintis (for the curious, a desiccant dehumidifier which doubles as a space heater, and a headless lounge style blower fan, both in a confined bathroom so I can get it up to around 90 degrees without heating the rest of my place much)

@Eosintis Also don't be afraid to reach out to your maker and ask... my care guide says throw the body in the wash (NOT dryer) and be careful about the footpaws, but I explained my stupidly good drying setup and she said go ahead and wash them bc the guide meant be sure it dries bc foam

Btw btw btw follow the care instructions your maker gives you for the suit they made for you. One size is not fits all for care. I treat my head like an angel baby because I did not make her and my maker has different care instructions.

@PatchxSaigai Very few such events happen in the US but I'd say if something is well designed with areas blocked off and a secluded headless zone etc then I'd gladly pay a small fee; the way I see it a furwalk would be far more enjoyable than a cocktail and I've paid for the latter a lot.

@crypticlizards AC is very fun if you end up enjoying ANW's more traditional feel and want something larger (stay close by if you full suit, it's hot). There's nothing particularly like LVFC with its open door room parties etc, but Megaplex has a similar vibe (huge difference in humidity tho).
