I think something that really bothers me about this merch stuff coming right off of a "pilot" is that it just cements that Glitch isn't any different than any other mainstream animation studio.
They aren't taking a chance on a risky pilot, they're showing us the new IP.

Last year, miHoYo copied my puzzle game Ouros in Zenless Zone Zero.
Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone.
I hope this video clears that up.

Tbh using AI to generate a concept (NOT the final outcome) to then ask an artist if they can draw it is the way AI should be used. It immediately shows in what direction the commissioner wants to go or what they'd like.
That's the best outcome. AI is a tool, not a replacement.

Its better to start somewhere then nowhere. If i can get at least one ai person to actually commission real, handmade art, then i am glad to take the reference :/

This is the second female mangaka this year who has deactivated their account because of harassment. If you still genuinely can’t see the problem with fandoms nowadays then you’re part of the reason creators no longer feel comfortable interacting with their audience online.
