New Superstring Agent - Nora Position: Vanguard Faction: The Scissors Nora has a knack for reconnaissance and breakthrough abilities. She can summon her spirits to suppress her enemies, forcing them into making a difficult choice — holding their ground and revealing themselves to her or relinquishing control of the map. When the round is in a stalemate, her Ultimate Skill tips the scale in her team's favour: Be it allowing for the entire team to rush into a site, or to regain control in desperate situations, Nora isn't just an information-gatherer — she is the straw that breaks the camel's back for the defending team. Active Skill: Curse! Spirit, Chase Them Down! - Nora summons a spirit that flies towards a targeted area. The spirit will reveal anyone within the selected area, then lock onto and attack the closest enemy, dealing damage and inflicting a stun effect on them. Passive Skill: Curse! Soaring Into Nothingness! - After a certain period of time, Nora can triple-jump. Ultimate Skill: Forbidden Curse! Dark Feast, Commence! - Nora summons clones of Cernon to hunt down enemies within a certain range of her. Cernon will attack enemies after closing in on them, dealing damage and limiting their perception. Tactical Skill: Curse! Spirit, Pierce Them! - Nora commands a spirit to fire Dark String Energy that penetrates cover in the direction of the crosshair. After collision with an enemy or activation, it explodes, dealing damage and slowing them. Produces a more violent explosion after a short period of time. Outbreak Updates - During the Final Showdown, Navigators will no longer be forced onto the Enhanced Ninjato; instead they will get an enhanced version of the secondary weapon that they selected. - Slightly decreased attack speed of the Enhanced Ninjato's heavy attack. - Kanami's Active Skill now deals damage to Crystallines nearby when her scan is fired. 3. Balance Adjustments *Note: These changes are to experiment with different team compositions and how they might work out, and all changes here are experimental. Not all changes will make it onto the official server, so please refer to the official update's patch notes for accurate information. 3.1 Superstring Adjustments (Ever since Lawine released, her pick rate has always been sky high. Her very strong information-gathering capabilities combined with the strength of smoke scans has caused her to be irreplaceable within any attacking team's lineup. However, her weakness in duels makes it so that players using her aren't as satisfied. Thus, the balance team has is preparing to nerf the smoke knife combo, but buff her ability to take duels, and also expand the abilities of other Vanguard Superstrings. Hopefully after this change, as well as with Nora releasing, the rigidity of the attacking team's lineups will decrease.) Lawine Weapon - Her Shadow Assault has had its rate of fire increased from 750 to 765. Abilities - Her Passive Skill has been changed to [Hunter's Focus]: When aiming (shoulder firing/ADS), Lawine's movement speed greatly increases, and her movement speed also increases temporarily after her Pulse Blade reveals an enemy. (The movement speed boost's duration is cut in half if her Awakening 3 is active.) - Her Ultimate Skill's Stealth Zone now only reveals enemies for 1s instead of 3s, however her movement speed boost while within her Stealth Zone has been increased from 10% to 25%, and its width has been increased from 5m to 6m. String Energy Network - Her Active Skill will no longer have the [Enemy Exposure Duration +1s] upgrade. - Her Awakening 1 has been changed to [Charged Pulse]: When Lawine's Pulse Blade reveals an enemy, Lawine will gain an armor regeneration effect. (This effect's duration is cut in half if her Awakening 3 is active.) - Her Awakening 2's slowing effect has been increased from 15% to 25%, and the slowing effect inflicted on enemies when the Pulse Blade's chain breaks has been increased from 30%-10% to 35%-15%. - Her Awakening 3 now reveals enemies for 1.25s instead of 1.5s previously. Kanami Abilities - Her Active Skill has a new effect: When Kanami's Sonar Disk is fired, it creates a soundwave area, briefly revealing all enemies within it, as well as dealing damage to summons within it. Galatea Weapon - Her Gambit's spread variation has been slightly improved, and its smallest/largest spread values have not changed. Abilities - When she takes damage, her passive will also go on cooldown, however decoys spawned from her passive will now last for 15s instead of just 10s. - Her Active Skill and Tactical Skill now allow for her to spawn decoys when pressing the key bound to her Active Skill and Tactical Skill when the clone is mid-air. - Her Active Skill and Tactical Skill's card throws no longer lock her camera vertically. - Her decoys now have a scan range of 20m instead of just 15m. - Her Ultimate Skill no longer refreshes the cooldown of her Active Skill, however her Ultimate Skill now summons 7 decoys instead of just 3. The decoys now fly for 1s instead of 2.5s and their HP values have been increased from 100 HP to 150 HP. When she throws her cards, she will briefly go invisible and her movement speed will be greatly increased. Meredith String Energy Network - Her Awakening 2 has been changed to [Protective Sandstorm]: When within a Sandstorm, Meredith's teammates will get a movement speed and damage reduction buff, both of those attributes being buffed when stringified. Its point requirements have been changed to 1 Blue, 2 Yellow and 1 Green. Chiyo String Energy Network - Her Awakening 3's damage reduction has been increased from 20% to 25%, and its reveal duration has been changed from 2s to 1.5s. Cielle String Energy Network - Her Awakening 2's cooldown refund has been decreased from 25% to 20%, its base damage has been decreased from 50 to 40, and its damage after activating her Ultimate Skill has been decreased from 100 to 80. 3.2 Secondary Weapon & Melee Weapon Adjustments - The heavy attack damage of the Greatsword has been decreased from 93 to 91. - Optimized dash attack hit range detection for the War Scythe and the Greatsword. - Slightly increased the light attack speed of the Ninjato. 4. Other Improvements - Stringification Improvement: Now, when Superstrings are stringified on walls, they can swap the weapon that they're holding while stringified instead of being forcefully unstringified.
