The October Revolution did not happen in a political vacuum where “Lenin just seized power.” Russia in 1917 was in a dual power crisis: the Provisional Government existed alongside the soviets, which had massive support among workers and soldiers, increasingly leaning Bolshevik.

Russia held an election a few weeks after Lenin seized power in 1917. Lenin's party finished a distant second.
Lenin then abolished the other parties and shut down the constituent assembly right after it convened.

This shit is so tedious. There are many feminisms. You can be pro women’s liberation and a Marxist. Women’s Liberation feminism and Marxism (in my view) are dedicated to achieving gender equality and are feminism. It just feels like bait shit when people talk like this

You cannot be a marxist and a feminist. Marxism is the revolutionary doctrine of the proletariat, and feminism has historically been an interclassist movement.
