What struck me most about this upcoming union btwn the leads is that it is NOT transactional.
The contrast with her annoying cousin Lian's on-again, off-again engagement says it all. The groom is a player- maybe karma for Lian given how spoiled she is. And his mother changed her tune so easily too. It's pretty fortunate that the typical benefits brides and grooms chased after back then? Our leads couldn't care less.
( Just glad I don't live in an era where who I marry becomes the defining decision of how others view me or my family. )
Now onto the previews, where we see the inevitable reactions from CYY's nephew and Ye Xian. It's bound to happen, but I hope the drama doesn't spend too much time on the angst that will follow for these men.
Just look at Ye Xian's reaction....always so violent. I genuinely don't get why anyone would have SLS. I like the actor, but Ye Xian himself? Too volatile. I'd never trust someone I care about with him.
Anyway, I just want more married life moments between the leads. From some spoilers I've seen, her road ahead in his family will likely make her time in the Gu household feel like a walk in the park. 😆

#ASplendidMatch Aiksss, didn't realize we're only getting single episodes today and tomorrow. How am I supposed to wait for the official proposal? 😩 Ep 24 really irritated me with all the Gu family drama. I'd prefer less of the infighting since it doesn't really serve the plot. What I actually need is more information on Chen Yanyun's family. It was only today that we met his 4th brother and 2nd sister-in-law. The expression on her face puzzled me- she seemed quite concerned when he told his mother about marrying Gu Jin Chao, even though she ended up agreeing it was a good idea. Definitely something to note. Anyway, the arc that truly interests me is the dicey but workable relationship between CYY and Ye Xian. I've said this before: CYY knows that military might is necessary for checks and balances in court politics, and Ye Xian (with some growing up) will make a good ally. Plus with CYY knowing he has to break away from his mentor, he really needs support. But I don't know if that will hold once Ye Xian realizes CYY has proposed to Gu Jin Chao. Being the man-child he still is, Ye Xian will throw a massive tantrum. And that's exactly why, feelings aside, Gu Jin Chao shouldn't choose him- he still has that temperamental, disruptive streak I find unsettling. That early scene of him whipping her in anger still plays in my head. We could blame childishness, but I draw the line at physical abuse - even in those times. Especially not toward a girl you claim to like. That said, I do like the actor, Win Win. I think he has potential to grow: you can check out his fiery love line with the fifth sister in Perfect Match.

นักวิชาการยังชี้ว่า ปัญหา “ผีน้อย” ไม่ได้เกิดจากแรงงานเพียงอย่างเดียว แต่สะท้อนปัญหาเชิงโครงสร้างของเศรษฐกิจไทย เนื่องจากค่าจ้างแรงงานไทยและเกาหลีใต้แตกต่างกันมาก ทำให้แรงงานจำนวนหนึ่งยอมเสี่ยงทำงานผิดกฎหมายเพื่อรายได้ที่สูงกว่า
