This is my kids terrible school. Refused them to go spit out mucus after coughing. I mean who do they think they are? In any other situation this would be grooming, and coercive abuse. Why are you allowed to legally traumatise because you did teacher training 🙈

I’m hearing more and more examples of school micro-control of teenagers. Behaviour points for the wrong earrings or socks, for not being immediately ‘on-task’ or for losing your pen. Schools say that if they control the small stuff, the big stuff will follow. They are wrong. 1/

@_MissingTheMark @LauraKerbey @naomicfisher I end up seeing report after report with Now and Next. We even see lots of hidden ABA in reports. Sneaky professionals trying to get that BS into EHCPs. Local authorities end up funding support that abuses instead of heals. We try to gatekeep but it’s everywhere. 🙈
