From our family to yours - happy Father's Day! We hope all of the fathers and father figures in our community feel loved this weekend. For many local families, Father's Day will look very different this year. We see you and we're thinking of you.

It's a busy time of year and the last few weeks have been heavy for our little province. If you're able, we encourage you to steal a moment alone with each of your kids to check in with them.

We know it's June, but we're giving you a peek at what Family SOS served up for lunch during the month of May!

June 12th is national Peanut Butter Cookie Day! What is your family's favourite peanut butter cookie recipe? Do you add chocolate chips to your peanut butter cookies?!

How do you negotiate with your kids? Negotiation helps kids feel like their wants are heard and valued while allowing parents to prioritize the best interests of their kids, as well as important aspects of routines and safety.

One of our smallest - but mightiest - volunteers to date! In may, we had volunteers join us from DORA Construction and McInnes Cooper. We're extending a huge thank you to both their teams for lending helping hands at our Community Market!

Family SOS welcomes donations of infant diapers and wipes, which are distributed to local parents each week. Would you like to make a donation? Sizes 3, 4, and 5 are in high demand. Donations can be dropped off at 4 Cranberry Court Monday through Thursday between 10AM and 2:30PM.

Family SOS' Community Market provides supplemental food support to more than 100 families each week! Consider supporting the Community Market by collecting donations of non-perishable food items in your office & invite your colleagues to donate. Questions? email info@familysos.ca
