The comics being shit doesn't change the fact that Homelander wasn't even the main villain there, and it still had a better sense of scale. The fight itself was completely nonsensical as well.

usually when people say “I don’t think you guys understand the point of your show” most of the time., it’s definitely a cop out, but based on the reactions that I’ve seen for the finale (and this entire season) “The Boys” fans do not understand their own show

@Famitry @Memecoin_Quant @rocco_botte He doesn't even try to resist or escape, HL was emotional and was trying to plead to who he saw as his Dad. In their previous fight when he was in that same situation he was able to overpower (H, SB & B). Those are completely different situations 😭

Annabeth (gen v character) who joins has precognition, Marie is stated to have potential to have power near or equal to homelander supe and can literally bring the death back to life 😭

@Famitry @Memecoin_Quant @rocco_botte Kimiko's powers aren't really inconsistent, she's as durable as a regular person. The reason why she's able to survive is because she's able to regenerate, that's why gun shots are able to "Kill her" and how falling down a building would cause her to splat like anybody else

@rocco_botte The lack of security at the White House + the “scorched earth” fight between some of the strongest supes on the planet all taking place in an office that took minimal damage. Yeah, no plot holes here.

I would 100% agree if the show always had crazy marvel style set pieces. But it’s always been about watching how they overcome these obstacles in a scrappy way

Remember all the “if we don’t kill him millions will die” talks that show constantly reinforces? Like that was the goal to kill him before it gets that bad. Why tf did you think they would fail?
