Very Long Post incoming with pics
I don’t share much non Pokémon stuff here on X/Twitter but here we are
Some know or have commented on this over the past year and even before, but I have started a weight loss “journey” of sorts a few years ago, and have been still working on that.
Last year on this day I did something specific that really catapulted change in my life. I challenged myself to go to the gym every single day for a month. I failed. But I went for 29/31 days and only had one day where I truly didn’t do any strenuous activity. I considered it an overall win. How much so…. I wouldn’t know till much later.
I have decided to share a progress picture one year later (I will also show where I was at when I realized I needed to begin this years prior)
Not because I am now some insanely sculpted guy or did some miracle transformation etc, but because I changed my outlook on life and my mindset the past year. Steady changes and adaptations. When I started the month I doubted that I would stick to it, now I set goals that are predicated on 6-12 months down the road and I believe I can achieve them. I made my health a lifestyle adjustment and not just a quick fix. I want this to be something I can turn into forever.
Not every day is clean and not every workout is great but I always can re-align myself because I know how much better it is now and how much dedication I have. There is always an improvement that can be made, but also time to be loving and understanding of yourself. If you want to make changes think about them a day or two at a time and look back months or years later and see how much you have improved!
Im nervous to share this but also excited. I like the accountability of it and know, that in ways I am still gross but I also am not done and believe I am working in a way that is best for me. I hope if you read this far that you know you are capable of anything you really put your mind to, and that change can come in any way you’d like it to with the right gameplan and mindset.
2nd pic is about 40 pounds lighter but an even larger difference in body composition and BF% as a whole. And down 80 pounds overall from when I started getting back into this in December 2022. Working on a plan to cut in the next few months as well
