This is what Bolivia's highways look like at the moment. Each town & village blocks their stretch, and the union members in each community take turns at the barricades. This is part of the general strike against neoliberalism. Now entering week 3.

This dynamic hasn't changed in ~2 months. Every day is groundhog day, partly due to Israel, mostly because Trump can't put ink to paper formalizing his capitulation. Yet he also can't restart the war & crash the global economy. So groundhog day continues. x.com/lrozen/status/…

Iranian official on tentative deal with US: The core problem is emanating from the fundamental one: these guys can not make up their mind due to their susceptibility to provocations by the team Bibi et al. After the Bay of Pigs invasion Cuba had 1,000 prisoners of war that they offered back to the USA for construction equipment. Castro sent 10 of the prisoners to the US to negotiate. The prisoners ran into trouble as US hotels refused them entry because 1 of them was too brown.

The British Museum has partnered with the genocide-denying Board of Deputies, on what they're billing as a new "Jewish culture month". The main lecture intends to use museum artefacts to argue for an ancient Israelite kingdom – an oft-cited basis for Israeli claims of exclusive rights over all of historic Palestine and an implicit rationale for the current genocide in Gaza. This is the same British Museum that, under pressure from the Israel lobby, recently erased the name "Palestine" and "Palestinian" from its exhibitions. There's now a predictable "free speech" outcry that the lecture has been postponed till next month because a group of Jewish artists had booked to attend and were expected to challenge the evidence-free thesis that the "Israelites" were the original "owners" of Palestine. Jewish Artists for Palestine issued a statement that it was “entirely legitimate” to expect a publicly funded museum to host conversations reflecting “different points of view” and that treating debate as “a security concern points to the event as a pro-Zionist propaganda exercise”. Media coverage – like the Guardian's below – has, also predictably, buried all this context to promote another antisemitism moral panic.

Oman has no objection to international commercial vessels navigating through the Iranian side of the Strait of Hormuz. However, if geopolitical or security circumstances require vessels to alter course and transit through Oman’s territorial waters, Oman has a sovereign responsibility to ensure that such passage is safe, orderly, and environmentally responsible. This includes preventing harm to Oman’s marine ecosystem, avoiding disruption to local shipping routes, and protecting the livelihoods of fishing communities. Under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, coastal states may regulate passage in their territorial waters for reasons related to safety, environmental protection, and maritime order. They may also impose charges for specific services rendered to passing vessels, provided such charges are applied transparently and without discrimination. In the Strait of Hormuz, these conditions are especially significant because of the volume of traffic, the sensitivity of the marine environment, and the strategic importance of the waterway. To provide safe passage and related maritime services, Oman would need to invest in port and coastal infrastructure, surveillance systems, navigational support, emergency response capacity, and the recruitment and training of hundreds of personnel. Oman is prepared to support the United States in this regard, particularly within the framework of the U.S.–Oman Free Trade Agreement. Other states may also seek similar arrangements with Oman through bilateral agreements.

Not one ancient blood libel comes even close to the ritual abuse that thousands of Israeli children are going through, at the hands of some of the most powerful rabbis and political figures in Israel, and with the full backing of the state. It is really, truly, unimaginable.
B.M.@ireallyhateyou

TW: GRAPHIC DETAILS OF RITUAL ABUSE "I'm tied in a bed. I can't move at all. There are a lot of people around me. They're holding a snake and very cruelly put it inside me. The pain is horrible. They pull it out, all covered in blood. They butcher it, making me drink the mixed blood and drink it themselves... The explanation was that now I'm basically a gateway. Now I'm sacred. Anyone who wants to join the 'family' has to go through me." Israeli victim of ritual abuse who was used for sick pedophile ceremonies, human trafficking and prostitution from a a very young and for many years, testifies at a Knesset committee hearing about the subject of ritual abuse. July 27, 2025. The theology behind the snake can be discussed for hours, but I'll try to make it really short. Please bear with me. The snake is an extremely powerful symbol in Judaism, strongly tied to sex, sinfulness, evil, and surprisingly - the Messiah. According to the Talmud, the snake in the Book of Genesis defiled Eve, basically defiling the entire human race forever and making it sinful. According to the Kabbalah, there's also a good snake, a "serpent of holiness", that can "fix" the defilement caused by the "serpent of impurity". Another important note on that subject, specifically in the "Messianic age" many Jews believe we now live in, is that that in Jewish numerology the words snake (נחש) and Messiah (משיח) have the same numeric value. And so the good snake, the "serpent of holiness", is also tied to the long-awaited Messianic redemption of Jews. Rabbi Eliezer Berland, who I recently posted about (see the following tweet), leads an ultra-Orthodox community of many thousands, known for their violence and riotous tendencies. They consider him to be the Messiah. He raped hundreds of women throughout the years, fled prosecution, and eventually got off with a slap on the wrist, and went back to lead his fanatic followers and rape more women. Berland used to be known as the "women's rabbi" - women would come to him for marriage advice, including about intimate matters. His modus operandi, revealed during the investigation, was to tell women he would "fix them". How? With his very own "serpent of holiness". Yes. His fuckin' dick.

When the mass media quit trying to cover up a major story that’s inconvenient for the empire it’s only because there’s already so much public evidence for it that editors can no longer get away with rejecting their reporters’ stories on it without creating an internal scandal.

BREAKING: RITUALISTIC ABUSE IN ISRAEL EXPOSED Kan 11's "Zman Emet" investigation exposed ritualistic sexual abuse in Gush Etzion. YouTube took it down and outlets are trying to suppress this story. We're posting the full translated documentary. Gush Etzion Regional Council admitted after the investigation: "The acts attributed to people from the Bloc are pure evil and moral perversion. We condemn the acts and their perpetrators." What the investigation found: Five women, most who didn't know each other, described strikingly similar patterns of multi-perpetrator ritualistic sexual abuse occurring in the same areas of Gush Etzion. The broadcast featured recordings, filmed confrontations, and testimony from professionals who had accompanied complainants over years. One survivor described being taken to an abandoned structure near a spring, where multiple men engaged in ritualistic abuse, set fires around her, and buried her. She spent 26 years suppressing the memories before they resurfaced at age 30. Survivors described abuse beginning as young as 3-4 years old. The investigation included psychological analysis showing how abusers weaponize religious language, beliefs, and rituals to manipulate victims into complicity and silence. Legal experts noted Israel's statute of limitations on sexual crimes makes prosecution nearly impossible for cases involving early childhood trauma and delayed disclosure. We're posting the full translated documentary below so this evidence doesn't disappear. Please share this.

Doubt that Tony Blair is a Tory has always bemused me. He lived round my way from the age of 5. His arch-Thatcherite father Leo was the chairman of the local Conservative Association and, guided by his father, Tony stood as a Conservative in his school mock elections. Fettes College where he boarded was a toff hothouse that held mock 'slave auctions'. He was groomed for Labour leadership by his Chambers boss Derry Irvine, a gaffe-prone, pro-privatisation Labourite, one of the architects of New Labour who constantly referred to Tony as 'young Blair'. I don't understand why anyone thinks he could have been some sort of socialist or even social democrat.

I have been a scholar of Hizbullah for over three decades, and throughout that time I have been repeatedly asked when, whether, or how, it will disarm. Yet in the context of Israel's daily terrorism in the south and the Bekaa, and beyond, the question today has become even more absurd, because those who pose it somehow still fail to grasp that they aren't simply asking about an organisation, but about whether an entire people — the people of the south, the Bekaa, and Dahyeh, Lebanon’s Shia community, and a constitutive part of the Lebanese state — should willingly surrender the only means through which they have resisted their own genocide. And the answer to that is something that rings even more true today than it has in the past--there will be no disarmament of Hizbullah's Resistance, with a capital R, or of any other popular resistance that may emerge with a lower case r, so long as the genocidal Israeli entity exists.
