@ghosterdriver Yeah it's rough. I'm running Rek'sai too while trying to bring up my viktor deck up to snuff. Thank you for the advice! I have a single sprite mother, so I'll add another riptide, sprite mother, and third singularity.

@FanaticalDm ahh missing Watcher is bad, kinda must have (for competitive) :/ I think I would replace (if you are missing all 3 of them) them and a Bellows Breath for 2 Sprite Mothers, 1 Riptide Rex and 1 Singularity for scoring potential and removal.

The date for the bans was announced, but as always time flies by and now we are two weeks before the RQ Lille and three before Atlanta. With the obvious winners and losers of the bans I think the first impression of Irelia, Kai'sa and Viktor being the top 3 decks is correct.

@ghosterdriver If I don't have watchers, what would you replace them with?

My current list post bans. Main change is Pickpockets replaced by Card Sharps to generate the gold now. The deck generally remains the same as it wasn't touched by the bans and also was never built as an Anti-Draven deck. piltoverarchive.com/decks/view/be3…

D&D Hot Take: DMs should use average damage for enemies if combat takes too long. All 5E stat blocks already include the average damage amount. This speeds up the DM's turns while more quickly throwing the spotlight back at the players, the heroes of the story.

@ZackSkyy @mattcolville Dark souls is also a hack and slash video game with little to no role playing. You don’t roll Faith to insight someone or make perception checks. I think for dark souls, replacing Wisdom with Faith makes sense since it’s combat focused and Faith is more clear to the player

@mattcolville Dark Souls has been using "faith" instead of "wisdom" for over a decade, even though it mostly uses traditional D&D stats like str, dex, and int. Kind of makes me wonder how D&D gets translated into and back out of Japanese.

Wow. I don’t know why this seems like such a fresh idea, I know for a fact I’ve played RPGs with stats like this. But…I think maybe…this explains why people feel like you can’t really play a character smarter than you. Because they don’t see Int literally.
