I don't think anything is preventing the toons from leaving other than the fact that they'd have nowhere else to go. They have no identities, no rights, no money, no support, nothing. Gardenview, twisted infested as it is, remains the safest place for them to stay.

this note HAS to be made by flyte. it states he scrapbooks and the note is made from newspaper clippings, its heavily implied flyte witnessed something traumatic + why hes so protective over his loved ones and he CANT use a brush/pencil. it had to be him right ???? who else?
