I’ve been getting backlash from people because I informed the family of the guy who was gang raped some say I had no right. But interestingly, yesterday his dad called me, checked if I was okay, and even asked if I could spend time with him since he’s often very quiet at home. He also suggested that I talk to him about going for counselling. He’s here, but there’s something I have noted he’s still self-harming. The rubber bands on his wrists are cutting into his skin. On top of that, we haven’t been able to have any meaningful conversation because we’ve been drinking heavily. But the truth is, he really needs help.
