Well we just need the British school lads or the culinary influencers to do taste test YouTube videos of:
• Root beet floats
• Birch beer floats
• Sarsaparilla floats
• and the like...
and then the 🇺🇸 stock market goes to the Moon 🚀.
They should pit the Pennsylvania takes vs. other regional takes vs. national brands.
Alison Roman and Kenji and Brad Leone and co. each do their own at-home takes.
People can do takes for cocktails/mixing, takes for kids, mixing various herbal flavorings, you name it.
We can literally take this style of carbonated beverage to the Moon if everyone just does their part.
We are hosting the World Cup this year and we are behind on putting root beer, birch beer, sarsaparilla WHICH ARE DISTINCTLY AMERICAN DRINKS THAT CAN BE ALCOHOLIC OR NON-ALCOHOLIC at the front of the table.

Barq’s still has its sarsaparilla bite - even though Coke removed the caffeine content! Pepsi could capitalize on the Mug root beer meme with young people. American Born Canadian A&W’s vanilla status is in question and still retains its soft power abroad. I love these brands.

The tea leaves are becoming more clear regarding regional summer sodas. 🇺🇸 The great tastemaker Joe Weisenthal has set the tone with root beer. Let's raise the stakes. What is going on in Kutztown, PA? Birch beer AND white birch beer? Sarsaparilla? Red Cream? Clearly these folks are onto something and Americans need to be able to discern between birch beer, white birch beer, sarsaparilla, and root beer.
