Fargo Fire Department is teaming up with NFPA to promote this year’s Fire Prevention Week, October 5- 11, Charge Into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home. Help us spread the word about making smart choices around buying, charging, and recycling lithium-ion batteries.

The results of our Battle of the Badges and the Battle of the Cities will be shared during @thecityoffargo Commission meeting on Tuesday, September 2, at 5 p.m. Thank you to every donor who came out today.

But that wasn’t the only competition happening. For the first time ever, the Battle of the Cities pitted #Fargo against the @cityofmoorhead in a friendly rivalry to see which community could collect the most total donations during their respective Battle of the Badges drives.

Yesterday, #FargoFire and @FargoPolice partnered with the American Red Cross - North Dakota/NW MN for the 8th Annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. After two years of the trophy sitting at the Police Department, we’re hopeful we'll reclaim the title. 🔥
