Interesting student-led study by Farm Animal Veterinary Society and the role that EMS plays influencing their decisions when thinking about being a farm vet. Farm vets & farmers have a big role inspiring the next generation @BritishVets @theBCVA @NFUtweets favs.org.uk/sites/favs.org…

On farm with one of our TB testers today and just look at this work of genius. Karabiner on the clipboard to attach to the crush / handling system. I can’t stop talking about it, so clever. It really is the little things!

This situation with Geronimo the alpaca is ridiculous now
Lesions ARE present, testing still needs doing to 100% confirm but the overwhelming evidence is he had TB
Death threats to vets & screaming protests need to stop, especially from vet professionals deframedia.blog.gov.uk/2021/09/08/ger…

TB-like lesions were found by pathologists in some lymph nodes and liver.
Defra UK@DefraGovUK
There has been widespread reporting of the post-mortem results of Geronimo. It is not true that no signs of TB were found. TB-like lesions were found and will be investigated further. deframedia.blog.gov.uk/2021/09/08/ger…
