The wallet type is chosen by the user during setup. Please press "Logout and check what type of wallet you have. If you only have a Cold Wallet, create a second wallet as a Hot Wallet. To create a Hot Wallet, leave the Save mnemonic switch ON when creating the new wallet. Do not turn it off. Without the mnemonic saved in the wallet, it becomes a receive-only wallet — you can receive funds, but you cannot spend them or accept offers. Later, you can keep both wallets — or even more. But for working with offers, switch to the Hot Wallet.

Good question — and we will add this to the FAQ. The XCH rewards come from the FarmX reward reserve. Staking FMX does not create XCH by itself. FarmX distributes XCH from a project-funded reserve. That reserve is supported by the FarmX treasury, Chia farming, FMX sales, and liquidity operations. So the model is not “magic yield” or hidden leverage. It is treasury-funded weekly XCH distribution for staked FMX, based on the active APR and staking rules. The real sustainability questions are: reserve size, APR policy, liquidity management, treasury inflows, and long-term FMX demand.

Fair question. The code is not public at this stage, and FarmX is not trying to pretend otherwise. We are not going to publish the whole codebase simply because someone demands it in a comment thread. That said, we do understand that technical transparency matters in Chia, and we will gradually publish more technical details about the architecture, staking logic, and design decisions. We did not appear in the Chia ecosystem out of nowhere. We have been farming Chia since April 2021, we own a Timelord ASIC, and FarmX has been in development for a little over a year. The first prototype was written in Python. Later, we rewrote the whole system from scratch in Rust. There were several hard technical blockers, long debugging periods, and moments where progress was simply stuck until we found the right solution. In critical situations, we also asked people from CNI for help and technical guidance. We are grateful for that. So for now, the best approach is this: if someone has a concrete question about a concrete part of the system, ask it. We are open to discussing real technical decisions, staking mechanics, smart coin logic, reward flow, and architecture. But FarmX should be evaluated by what it actually does, how the mechanics work, and whether the model is transparent enough for users to make their own decision — not by forcing the team into a GitHub-drop on demand.

ok where is the code? Where does the yield come from i.e. where does the xch come from when staking? Also where does the xch go that is used to buy the fmx token? You have the full supply of tokens and the only way to get them is to buy em from you on dexie or get from tibet which you own all the liquidity. "does the architecture make sense... are the risks clearly explained" none of this is answered on your website. Your faq is very vague.

Fair questions. We understand why people ask who is behind FarmX. But FarmX is not built on influencer reputation, personal mythology, or five years of public posting. We chose to spend our time differently: designing the model, writing code, testing the staking logic, and building the platform. The project is developed by a small independent team. Some of us have followed Chia for a long time, but we are not trying to sell FarmX through personalities. The important question is not “how loud were you in the community before?” but “does the architecture make sense, is the logic verifiable, and are the risks clearly explained?” The YouTube channel is new because FarmX is now entering its public phase. The first content will be practical: how to stake, how claims work, and how users can verify what they are doing. FMX is not simply deposited into a custodial wallet where users have to trust us blindly. FarmX uses Chia’s smart coin model. By “smart coin logic” we mean native Chia coin conditions: staking positions, unlock rules, and reward eligibility are represented through coin logic rather than a conventional centralized balance sheet. More technical documentation will follow. Skepticism is healthy. But the project should be judged by code, mechanics, transparency, and delivery — not by meme history.

I've seen it. I would like to know more about you and the team if you have one. Are you already in the community if so who are you. You have a youtube channel with zero content. where is the FMX locked if its non-custodial. What is the "smart coin logic" you speak of? Where does the yield come from? Where does the xch go that is used to purchase FMX token because the only way to get it is to buy it and you're the only one that has it to sell. seems like a scam at this point unless this becomes way more transparent.
