Our fifth winds quietly into the heart of our heathland. A classic strategic par 4, where reaching for the driver is rarely wise. It's all about opening up a good view of the green, which is perched above. Simple on paper, devilishly difficult in practice.

Open vistas framed by mature pines, a key feature of our course. In a few months, the familiar purple glow of heather will return to our fairways and we can't wait.

Heather restoration takes time, patience and the right conditions. Fortunately, our heathland environment provides just that, with new growth appearing each year as part of our ongoing restoration strategy.

The Chevron Championship has arrived. The entire club is incredibly proud to watch Lottie compete on the major stage once again and we will all be cheering her along. Wishing her the very best out there this week.

Finishing off our front 9 with its undulating fairway and raised green. While the tee shot looks accommodating and the fairway feels wide, the target to open up the green is much smaller than you would think. Taking an extra club on your approach is also wise advice.

Hand mowing our greens offers a precise cut while keeping heavy machinery off the turf to prevent winter compaction. All of that careful winter work is showing its true value now that spring has finally arrived.

A testing winter, but the course has come through well. Sandy soil and natural drainage leave us well placed for the spring ahead.
