Donald Trump has been re-elected president of the United States. Once again, we will be faced with a President that governed for years and campaigned on issues that are an anathema to what our union stands for. We will have one of the most anti-worker presidents in our country’s history in the White House. We will have someone who has denigrated people of color, immigrants and women. Someone who has stoked divisions across race and gender will be setting the national agenda. And at the same time, we will lament what could have been given Vice President Harris’ talents and commitment to our issues. 1/3
