Earlier today, a user attempted to buy AAVE using $50M USDT through the Aave interface. Given the unusually large size of the single order, the Aave interface, like most trading interfaces, warned the user about extraordinary slippage and required confirmation via a checkbox. The user confirmed the warning on their mobile device and proceeded with the swap, accepting the high slippage, which ultimately resulted in receiving only 324 AAVE in return. The transaction could not be moved forward without the user explicitly accepting the risk through the confirmation checkbox. The CoW Swap routers functioned as intended, and the integration followed standard industry practices. However, while the user was able to proceed with the swap, the final outcome was clearly far from optimal. Events like this do occur in DeFi, but the scale of this transaction was significantly larger than what is typically seen in the space. We sympathize with the user and will try to make a contact with the user and we will return $600K in fees collected from the transaction. The key takeaway is that while DeFi should remain open and permissionless, allowing users to perform transactions freely, there are additional guardrails the industry can build to better protect users. Our team will be investigating ways to improve these safeguards going forward.

I checked every comment Here’s what people say needs to happen to start buying and holding $JUP again: 1) Remove the DAO (A lot of people call it useless and say everything went wrong after the votes) 2) Build a clear roadmap (People don’t know what’s next or what to expect) 3) Staking rewards in USDC/SOL (They want quarterly rewards in USDC or SOL not in JUP) 4) Rebuild trust (People won’t buy or hold if they don’t trust the team) 5) Built Real need for token (It’s not ownership, not rev share, not collateral, and has no clear use case inside the Jupiter ecosystem) That’s why many are saying: “I’d rather put my stables and SOL into lending to earn yield than hold JUP” The latest vote didn’t make anyone happy 6) Better market conditions (Some just belive bull market will push token price higher) Do you think something will change?

Jupuary is postponed indefinitely, your snapshot is preserved and the 700M $JUP returns to the Community Cold Multisig. Let me put it this way: as a JUP holder, I'd like to see supply stopped being dumped onto the market. Everyone has learned that the sooner they sell AirDrop, the less they'll "lose." However, I don't understand why we're holding a vote after the fact? You promised people AirDrop in January… vote should be in December 2025, not now 😉

New DAO Proposal: Bring Net Emissions To Zero (Jupiter Goes Green) Today, we shared one of the most important @jup_dao proposals so far. The objective: take $JUP net emissions to effectively zero. To be clear, we are not unilaterally deciding on this plan. This is exactly the kind of high-leverage decision that affects all token holders, and as such ought to go to a DAO vote. If the vote doesn’t pass, we will continue with Jupuary. The airdrop checker will be released ~Feb 28th and the actual airdrop will take place on ~March 7th. But if this vote passes, it will address a key point of concern from token holders, build a powerful narrative, and demonstrate a ridiculously high level of conviction in the long-term importance of $JUP. The proposal itself is live right now on the Jupiter Research Forums (discuss dot jup dot ag). We welcome comments over the coming 4 days. The vote will begin on Tuesday and go through Saturday (5 total days). Excited to see what folks think - I’m sure there will be many opinions, and me and the rest of the team will try to respond as much as possible.

@0xSoju Don't take anything to help you sleep, it can disrupt your sleep system. Red light helps me in the morning and CBD in the evening, or L-theanine, or ashwagandha 😉 (don't mix everything together, let your body adjust).
