@_NickWhalen Jones should be the week 1 starter. Bradbury was a solid knee-jerk reaction to Dahlman calling it a day and he will be a solid backup to Jones, but there's no way Bradbury should be the week 1 starter.

9 of 12 Centers drafted in rounds 1 or 2 from 2018-2025 were the Week 1 starter.
(not including players who were moved to Guard as a rookie)
Exceptions:
-Joe Tippmann started 14 games at Center from week 3 onward
-Juice Scruggs was on Injured reserve in August
-Cam Jurgens wasn't starting over future HOF Jason Kelce

It's all good though. The Bears have sucked but the Peckers haven't been all that and are definitely trending downward but enjoy!

@ziggy_zagg @AdamHoge Uh... I don't believe anyone expects a journalist to be able to throw a straight ball reliably. However, when your job requires you to put a ball on a target, you should probably be able to do it. I mean, he did sign a 3-year $67.5M contract to do exactly that.

@dabearsblog That would be on par for the league. It wouldn’t be the first time that the schedulers stuck it to the Bears with a bad schedule. BUT, imagine if you will that the Bears went 2-0 after that. I bet the national hacks would bump them up to at least 25 in their rankings. 😂

If the league sends the Bears to Seattle for the opener, and then to Buffalo to open their new building, that would just be a brutal way to open the season.

Not really sure why there is so much hate towards a "consensus board" this year. Maybe its just boredom over the draft itself. Why get so annoyed at a sheet that simply collects the opinions of many of the draft analysts you read all offseason leading into the draft?

Admittedly, I was caught off guard by the Roush pick and then came the Thomas pick. You have to have some degree of faith in what Poles and Johnson are doing and that they have a vision. BUT (there's always a but), I don't know how those two are going to get to the opposing QB.🐻⬇️
